DEPOSIT AND CREDIT CARD INFORMATION:
ACCEPTED: American Express, Diners Club, MasterCard (not debit or prepaid), Visa (not prepaid). Debit card not accepted unless otherwise stated below. A deposit amount of EUR 1200.0 will be held against your credit card for the duration of the rental. Your deposit is a guarantee held in the event of damage/theft of the vehicle. This will be automatically released if there is no theft or damage during the rental period. Please note that this does not represent your total excess liability which can be found in the Damage Waiver Liability section. NOT ACCEPTED: A valid credit card in the first name and surname of the lead driver (no abbreviations) must be presented at the rental desk in order to pre-authorize/charge a deposit. The credit card(s) must be embossed and a PIN number may be required. In the event that you fail to present a valid credit card, there is a lack of sufficient funds available on the credit card or the credit card is not in the lead driver's name, the car rental agent may refuse to release the vehicle. In these instances, no funds paid will be reimbursed.

Customers who fall outside the age limitations will not be able to rent a car unless there is a young or senior driver fee specified in this section. Please note that, if applicable, this fee will be included in the rental price and will be payable on arrival at the rental desk in the local currency.
Travel Restrictions
Car rental provider permits vehicles to be driven to the following countries ONLY: Italy, Portugal, Spain, Andorra, the Vatican City, Republic of San Marino, The Principality of Monaco, France, England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland, Northern Ireland, Belgium, Holland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Slovenia and Croatia.
There is no charge for this service and you do not need to communicate this to the supplier prior to collecting your vehicle.
It is strictly forbidden to drive the vehicles in a country other than the above listed.
Please note insurance coverage may change if you travel to areas Campania and Puglia - please check with the car rental agent before you travel.
Please check with the rental provider in advance that the vehicle has the proper equipment in accordance with local traffic rules of the country or region you intend to travel to (eg. Winter tyres).
In case of an accident abroad (only in the countries where our cars can be driven into) client must contact our 24 hours Assistance at 0039 015 2559656. The tow track will pick the vehicle up and will take it to the nearest repair station. Auto Europa – Sicily by Car S.p.A. will consider together with the customer the most suitable way to return to Italy.
In case of any damage causing the breakdown of the vehicle, as per the article 1588 of the Civil Code, the Customer will be charged for the tow truck service fee of Euro 300,00 + Euro 1,00 per Km + VAT, except in case he has subscribed the optional “Road Assistance Plus” clause.
